Kalpa is a hill station situated in the Sutlej river valley at the altitude of 2758 m (9049 ft) in the Himalayas. Kalpa is situated among apple orchards, pine-nut forests and the stately deodhars. The entire range of Kinner Kailash peaks covered in snow is visible from Kalpa. The town is also known for the ancient Hindu and Buddhist temples.

When to visit: best time to visit June to August.
