Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is an eco system consisting of two regions - Tadoba National Park and Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary. The reserve was created in 1995 and is spread over 625 sq.km (242 sq.mi). It is home to many species including tiger, leopard, sloth bear, Indian bison, Indian mouse deer, sambar, flying squirrel, etc. The park provides a natural habitat to a rich variety of flora that includes teak, ain, bija, bamboo, salai, etc.

When to visit: opened between 16 October to 28/29 February and 1st March to 30 June. Tadoba-Andhari Reserve is closed on Tuesdays and Holi Festival. For detail information please check tourism Board website. Reservations needed in advance.
