Jhansi is a historical city situated on the banks of the Pahuj or Pushpavati River. It is a fortified city situated around the stone fort. Jhansi is an important pilgrimage centre for Catholic Christians. It is believed that the bone of Jude is buried in the foundation of cathedral.
