Mobor is a beach in South Goa situated 50 km (31 mi) from the state’s capital Panaji. Mobor beach is a part of 25 km (16 mi) sandy beach extending from Bogmalo to Cabo de Rama Fort in Cola. Mobor is situated to the south of Cavelossim beach, where the Sal River meets the Arabian Sea. Mobor is a beautiful beach offering many water sports opportunities including water-skiing, wind-surfing, parasailing, etc. Mobor is a quiet place with luxury resorts and five star hotels. The beach has many isolated, secluded coves suitable for the ones seeking peace and tranquillity.

When to visit: best time to visit October to March. March to May is hot and humid. June to September is monsoon season.

HOW TO REACH

Nearest railway station: Madgaon Junction railway station in Margao is about 17 km (10.5 mi) away. Margao station is the terminus station for several Konkan Railway trains and almost all trains passing through Goa stop here. There are direct trains from most parts of India including Delhi, Mumbai, Cochin, Mangalore, Bangalore, Gujarat, Kerala, coastal Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
