Deoghar is a holy town and an important Hindu pilgrimage centre. It’s a place of worship for Lord Shiva. It is famous for the Vaidyanath Temple - one of the twelve Shiva Jyothirlingams in India. There are numerous sights of religious significance in and around the town.
