Cuttack was the former capital of Odisha. It is also known as the Millennium City and the Silver City because of its famous silver filigree work. The city is situated at the beginning of Mahanadi river delta and was developed around Barabati Fort. Cuttack is the commercial capital of Odisha and is well known for Bali Yatra festival – the second largest trade festival in Asia. Cuttack is also famous for its Dussehra celebrations and woven textiles.
