Digha is a seaside resort near the Bay of Bengal and is the most popular beach resort in West Bengal. Places of entertainment here include Marine station and Digha Boardwalk which stretches for a mile and is full of makeshift stalls, different souvenirs of sea shells, conch shells, hand woven mats - Madur, cashew nuts as there are big plantations nearby etc. 
Major tourist sites in and around Digha: Amarabati park, marine station, Kajal Dighi Wonderland, Digha science centre, Udaipur and Shankapur beaches.
