Havelock Island is the largest of the Andaman Islands. Havelock is known for prestine sandy beaches, crystal-clear blue waters with rich marine life, beautiful sunsets, snorkeling, scuba diving, tropical rainforests, villages with traditional marketplace and old buildings. Other activities on the island include: fishing, jungle treks, birdwatching, elephant ride. The island is a popular destination for honeymooners and eco-tourism. The Radha Nagar Beach also known as Beach No.7, is one of the most popular beaches on Havelock and was named "Best Beach in Asia" by Time in 2004. Other beaches include: Neils Cove, Elephant Beach, Beach No.5, etc.
