Ganpatipule primarily known as a temple town, is a small village recognized for its pristine waters and stretches of golden sand. It is on the Konkan Coast, about 32 km (19.8 mi) from Nivali, a small village on Mumbai Goa Road. Being a coastal town, it is famous for fresh seafood. There are lots of local eateries that offer mouth-watering Malvani “thalis” (dishes) complete with “sol kadi”, fried fish and coconutty curries.
