Pelling is a hill station nestled at an altitude of 2,150 m (7,200 ft). The town provides breathtaking view of the Khangchendzonga, the third largest mountain in the world, and surrounding ranges of Himalayas. Pelling also forms the base for trekking in West Sikkim. It is a popular tourist destination.
Major tourist sites in and around Pelling: Pemyangtse Monastery, Sanga Choling Monastery, rock garden and waterfall at nearby Rimbi, Kanchenjungha Falls, Singshore Bridge, Chhange Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake, etc.
