Kumbhalgarh Fort

Kumbhalgarh Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Built in the 15th century, the fort is the birthplace of Maharana Pratap, the great king and warrior of Mewar kingdom. Kumbhalgarh Fort is built on a hilltop in the Arravalli Hills. The wall perimeter extends over 36 km (23 mi) and there are over 360 temples within the fort. There is a wildlife sanctuary nearby where squirrels, wolves, panthers and birds can be spotted during the spring months.
