It is one of the largest and most famous tiger reserves. Park extends over an area of over 866 sq.km (334sq.mi). There is a large number of species: hanuman langurs, grey langurs, Bengal tigers, leopards, golden jackals, jungle cats, caracals, chitals, sambhars, striped hyenas, chinkaras, nilgais, four-horned antelopes, a number of bird and reptile species. Ancient monuments to see: Kankwadi fort, Hanuman temple in Pandupol.
