Agra is the city of Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Agra is situated on the banks of the river Yamuna. It was the capital of the Mughal Empire between 1526 and 1658. It has three UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Taj Mahal (a marble Tomb known as the monument of Love), the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Along with Delhi and Jaipur, Agra is included on the Golden Triangle tourist circuit.
Agra is also famous for its sweets – Petha and Gazak- and the salty snack – Dalmoth. Marble, hand-made leather, jewelry, sandalwood items are popular buy in Agra.

Nearest railway station: Agra Cantonment Railway station. Agra is well connected to Delhi, Varanasi, cities of Rajasthan and South India.
Nearest airport: Agra Airport is connected to major Indian cities.
Buses: The main bus terminus is the Idgah Bus Stand. There are UP State Road Transport (UPSRTC) as well as private buses plying to and from Agra.
By road: The distance from Delhi to Agra is about 233 km via Taj Express Highway/Yamuna Expy. It takes around 4 hours.
The distance from Jaipur to Agra is about 240 km via Bikaner - Agra Rd. It takes around 4-5 hours.
The distance from Gwalior to Agra is about 120 km via NH 44. It takes around 3 hours.
