Agra is a city situated on the banks of the river Yamuna. Agra was the capital of the Mughal Empire between 1526 and 1658. It is home to three UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Taj Mahal (one of the Seven Wonders of the World, also known as monument of Love), the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Agra is included on the Golden Triangle tourist circuit, along with Delhi and Jaipur.
