Sualkuchi is a weaving village located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Sualkuchi is known as the crafts village. With 17000 silk looms, this textile centre is known for producing some of the best silk in the state. Sualkuchi is famous for Muga and Pat and Eri silk which is used in the colourful Assamese attires.
